We are looking for an experienced procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing, supplier management, import procurement, and raw material planning for a leading metal can manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in sourcing metal-based raw materials, supplier negotiations, and supply chain optimization.

🚀 Key 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥ties

✔ Develop and execute sourcing strategies for tinplate, TFS (Tin-Free Steel), aluminum sheets/coils, ends, easy-open lids, and related materials ✔ Lead supplier negotiations, price benchmarking, contract management, and procurement planning ✔ Monitor global steel, aluminum, freight, and commodity market trends ✔ Identify, evaluate, and manage local and international suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and uninterrupted supply ✔ Coordinate closely with Production, QA, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely material availability ✔ Drive cost optimization initiatives through alternate sourcing, yield improvement, and waste reduction ✔ Manage import procurement activities including LC opening, shipping schedules, customs clearance, and documentation ✔ Ensure compliance with food-grade standards, quality requirements, and relevant international regulations ✔ Maintain optimum inventory levels and support production planning requirements ✔ Generate procurement MIS reports, supplier performance analysis, and cost-saving initiatives ✔ Lead and develop procurement team members to enhance sourcing and supply chain capabilities

🎓 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 ✔ Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline

💼 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞

✔ Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management ✔ Strong experience in Metal Can Manufacturing, Packaging, Steel, Aluminum, FMCG Packaging, or related industries ✔ Hands-on experience in import procurement, supplier development, and strategic sourcing
