Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to support the design, engineering, commissioning, and operation of utility-scale and commercial energy projects. The successful candidate will have sound technical knowledge of grid interconnection, protection systems, and energy storage technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and analyze electrical power systems for renewable energy and BESS projects
* Perform load flow, short circuit, grounding, and protection coordination studies
* Support BESS sizing, configuration, and integration with grid and renewable sources
* Prepare single-line diagrams (SLD), schematics, cable schedules, and technical specifications
* Coordinate with EPC contractors, utilities, OEM vendors, and project stakeholders
* Review engineering drawings, calculations, and equipment submittals
* Assist in commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and system performance validation
* Ensure compliance with IEEE, IEC, NEC/NFPA, and applicable local standards
* Support SCADA, EMS, and communication system integration
* Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during project execution
* Prepare technical reports, documentation, and engineering deliverables
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering / EEE or related discipline.
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in power systems engineering and/or BESS projects
* Strong understanding of transmission and distribution systems
* Knowledge of inverters, transformers, switchgear, and substations
* Familiarity with lithium-ion battery systems and BESS architecture
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and project coordination skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in utility-scale solar + storage projects
* Knowledge of EMS/PMS integration and microgrid systems
* Familiarity with ETAP, AutoCAD, PVsyst, or equivalent engineering software
