Akij Resource Ltd. is seeking an experienced and result-oriented Assistant Manager – Procurement to support our growing Medical Equipment and Diagnostic Business by ensuring the timely sourcing and procurement of critical healthcare products and services. We are looking for professionals with 5–8 years of procurement experience in hospitals, diagnostic centers, medical devices, laboratory consumables, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industries, with strong expertise in both local and international sourcing. Educational & Professional Requirement: • BBA in Supply Chain Management or B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering. MBA in Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related discipline will be preferred. • Proven experience in procuring diagnostic reagents, laboratory consumables, medical equipment, healthcare accessories, and related services. • Strong network with international manufacturers, principals, distributors, and import suppliers within the healthcare and diagnostics sector. • Hands-on expertise in import procurement, supplier development, price negotiation, shipment coordination, documentation, and supply continuity management. • Sound understanding of healthcare supply chains, inventory planning, regulatory compliance, quality standards, and procurement governance. • Ability to collaborate effectively with laboratory, commercial, operations, and finance teams to drive demand planning and procurement forecasting.
