Job Responsibilities
Fire Fighting System
★Design and draft fire protection and fire detection systems in accordance with NFPA, BNBC, local fire authority requirements, and project specifications.
★ Prepare hydraulic calculations for sprinkler systems, standpipe systems, fire pumps, hydrant networks, hose reel systems, and water storage requirements.
★ Develop fire protection layouts, riser diagrams, schematic drawings, equipment schedules, and coordination drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
★ Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, technical specifications, and tender documentation for fire protection systems.
★ Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure proper integration of fire protection systems within the building design.
★ Review vendor submittals, shop drawings, material specifications, and equipment data sheets for compliance with project requirements.
★Provide technical support during installation, testing, commissioning, and handover stages of projects.
★ Conduct site inspections and quality assessments to ensure compliance with approved drawings, codes, and safety standards.
★ Assist in fire risk assessment studies and recommend appropriate fire protection solutions.
★ Ensure all fire protection designs comply with applicable codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
Software Skills (Preferred): AutoCAD (2D Electrical), Revit MEP, MS Excel / Word / PowerPoint.
