Your Role: Manager, Outsourcing

Department: Supply Chain

Job Location: Gulshan 1

Role Accountabilities:

- Identify, evaluate, and select third-party manufacturers and suppliers based on their capability, quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.

- Coordinate with production and supply chain teams to align outsourcing with production schedules and demand forecasts.

- Monitor outsourced production to ensure timely product delivery.

- Resolve any production delays or issues by liaising with vendors and internal stakeholders.

- Develop and manage the outsourcing budget to ensure cost efficiency and alignment with company financial goals.

- Continuously optimize outsourcing processes to reduce cost without compromising quality.

- Regularly evaluate vendor performance for quality compliance, timely delivery, and cost efficiency.

- Ensure contingency plans are in place to address unforeseen challenges in the outsourcing process.

- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of outsourcing activities.

- Collaborate with Procurement, Production, QA, and Logistics to ensure smooth integration of outsourcing with overall operations.

- Conduct market analysis to source the best outsourcing suppliers and improve product quality and service.

- Build and maintain a reliable outsourcing partner base to optimize production costs and support future business processes in line with policy.

- Lead and mentor the outsourcing team to promote continuous improvement and professional development.

Qualifications that are required and preferred:

- The incumbent requires to have 4 years bachelor’s degree in business / engineering from Public, Private or Oversees University with MBA in Supply Chain will be an added qualification to be considered. Relevant module of the Supply Chain certification, knowledge of integrated planning system for example SAP, IFS is highly recommended.

- Minimum 8 years’ procurement experience, including 3+ years in leadership preferably in footwear or manufacturing factory experience is an added advantage.
