Position: Senior Executive Department: Health, Safety & Environment Job Location: Rupganj Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Job Responsibilities: Risk Assessment & Safety Audits • Conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards. • Develop and implement corrective and preventive measures (CAPA). • Ensure safe practices in all operations and activities. Policy Implementation & Compliance • Develop and enforce health and safety policies in accordance with legal and organizational standards. • Monitor compliance with safety procedures and statutory requirements (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001). • Keep updated with changes in HSE process. • Suggest innovations and improvements in workplace safety and hygiene. Incident Management • Investigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions. • Document incidents and recommend measures to prevent recurrence. • Maintain an incident and accident log for regulatory and internal reporting. Emergency Preparedness • Develop emergency response plans and conduct evacuation drills. • Ensure emergency equipment (fire extinguishers, alarms, first aid kits) is accessible and functional. Occupational Health Monitoring • Monitor & maintain SOP in case of employee exposure to physical, chemical, and biological hazards. • Coordinate with medical teams for periodic health checkups and wellness programs. Documentation & Reporting • Maintain accurate records of inspections, training sessions, permits, and incidents. • Prepare monthly safety performance reports for management. Permit-to-Work System (PTW) • Manage PTW for high-risk activities like hot work, confined space entry, and electrical maintenance. • Ensure proper isolation, tagging, and lockout procedures are followed. Coordination & Liaison • Work with HR, operations, maintenance, and external safety consultants to align safety objectives. • Communication with government agencies and ensure timely submission of safety-related documents. • Training arrangement.
