The opportunity
The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the team related to knitting planning in the plant level and support production accordingly.
The role
- Generate Knitting Plan and follow up on the Knitting of rolls of fabric required in the Weekly Production Plan, according to the installed capacity and inventories available in the different yarns.
- Ensuring fluidity of the product through optimal planning and monitoring its progress through the Knitting adherence indicator.
- Calculate the number of rolls of greige fabric to be knitted based on the Weekly Production Plan and estimate the amount of raw material and capacity to be used in the plant, considering the availability of the different batches of yarn and restrictions, if applicable.
- Generate the production plan for rolls of required Greige, assigning each machine to run based on Style, Yarn, Process Parameters according to updated Textile Specifications.
- Print all the documentation required for the assembly of the knitting production plan on the production floor (Production Tickets, Change Sheets. Weekly Production Plan).
- Counting of Tickets in the machine to tally the production plan.
- Preparation and follow-up of the mixed orders plan.
- Perform any other operation-related function indicated by immediate supervisor.
The requirement
Knowledge & Professional Experience
- At least Bachelor’s Degree in relevant background from a reputed public or private university with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
