Job Description – Business Development Manager (Solar & BESS)Position Title: Business Development Manager/Deputy Manager

Location: Dhaka (Frequent travel across Bangladesh and regionally if required)
𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞:
The Business Development Manager (Solar & BESS) is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and acquiring new customers. This role combines sales leadership, market insight, and technical expertise in Solar EPC and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). You will lead sales strategies, mentor your team, and strengthen client relationships to meet the company’s growth objectives.
𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬
1. Develop and execute annual and long-term business development strategies.
2. Identify opportunities within Commercial, Industrial, Institutional (C&I) and Government sectors.
3. Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve targets.
4. Build and maintain relationships with clients and strategic partners.
5. Oversee major presentations, negotiations, and high-value deal closures.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless project delivery
7. Monitor competitors, pricing strategies, and emerging technologies.
8. Solution development (Solar + BESS)
𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 & 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬
1. Minimum B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) from any reputed university.
2. Five (5+) years in sales/business development ideally in Solar EPC or Renewable Energy. Strong understanding of solar PV technology, EPC workflows, and energy market dynamics.
3. Proven record of exceeding sales targets and driving growth
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
5. Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office Suite.
6. Willingness to travel extensively.
