About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Manager, Procurement & Sourcing to lead defense and government tenders, international freight procurement, and contract management.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end tender management (NIT to post-award) for defense, ministries, and government agencies.
- Commercial & technical bid evaluation, negotiation, and contract finalization.
- Handle sea/air freight, multimodal logistics, customs, insurance & war risk costing (USD-based).
- Vendor development – shipping lines, C&F agents, equipment suppliers.
Ensure compliance with PPR-2008, Defense Procurement Rules, and IATA/FIATA/BAFFA standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
- 12+ years in Bangladesh Armed Forces (Army/Navy/Air Force) OR 5–8 years in procurement/logistics.
- Proven experience in defense or government tender participation.
- Strong knowledge of PPR-2008 & international trade conventions.
- Advanced MS Excel, MS Word, tender management tools.
- Fluent in English & Bengali.
