Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited owns 100 percent shares of Jenson & Nicholson (Bangladesh) Limited. The company has been involved in the Metal Container’s business in Bangladesh since 1990. JNBL had set up the factory in Chittagong. Over the decades, JNBL has evolved to become the leading Metal Container manufacturer in the country and has diversified into Paint containers, Lubricant Oil, Engine oil, Food grade Container.
Purpose of the role:
The purpose of this role is to drive excellence in factory operations by spearheading the quality assurance function. This role ensures total compliance with regulatory and company standards, optimizing production processes to deliver zero-defect products while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
To implement and maintain QA systems to ensure consistent adherence to product and process quality standards.
To supervise inspection, testing, and validation activities across incoming materials, in-process, and finished goods stages.
To monitor and analyze quality related data to identify trends, root causes, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
To drive continuous improvement initiatives in product quality, process efficiency, and documentation practices.
To ensure full compliance with internal SOPs, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements for product quality and safety.
To lead QA team training and capacity building activities to maintain quality awareness and technical competency.
Requirements:
BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant engineering discipline from a reputed university.
At least 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG organization.
Hands-on experience with quality systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001), internal audits, and process validation will be preferred.
Working knowledge of SAP (QM module), statistical tools, and root cause analysis (RCA) techniques will be preferred.
Certification in ISO Quality Management Systems, Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing, or Internal Auditing will be an added advantage.
