We are hiring some Potential Candidates “Manager-Supply Chain” for a renowned leading group of company for their Agro concern.

Position: Manager - Supply Chain

Job Responsibilities:

· Lead end-to-end supply chain operations for direct materials across SC Johnson, Fertilizer, and Crop Care & Public Health businesses.

· Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans; lead supplier negotiations and contract management.

· Act as SPOC for SC Johnson business, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.

· Drive the S&OP process, aligning demand forecasts with supply capabilities and facilitating monthly review meetings.

· Oversee demand and supply planning with a focus on forecasting accuracy and capacity optimization.

· Manage inventory levels to maintain safety stock norms and minimize stock-outs or excess.

· Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Production, Finance, and Logistics to ensure timely product availability.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and toll manufacturers.

· Achieve KPIs including cost optimization, OTIF delivery, and improved working capital efficiency.

· Leverage ERP systems and planning tools to enhance decision-making and supply chain performance.

Requirements:

Education:

·  BSc/MSc in Agricultural Chemistry, Agro-chemistry, Agricultural Science (with strong chemistry component), or Applied Chemistry / Chemical Engineering with relevant electives.

·  PGD or MBA in Supply Chain Management/ Operations / Business Administration will be an added advantage.

·  6-10 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, preferably in agrochemicals, fertilizers, or seed industry.

·  The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Group of Companies, Chemical Industries

- Skills & Competencies:

· Relevant experience in supply chain management, preferably in agrochemicals, fertilizers, or seed industry.

· Strong understanding of procurement, demand planning, inventory control, logistics, and distribution management.

· Proven track record of implementing process improvements and cost optimization initiatives.

· Experience with ERP/SAP systems and supply chain analytics tools.

· Strategic Thinker, Excellent Negotiator, Analytical & Problem-Solver and Cross-Functional Leader
