Position: Engineer, Machine Maintenance
Job Location: Factory - Savar, Dhaka
JRC Powertech, a leading power solutions and electrical manufacturing company in Bangladesh, is looking for a proactive and technically sound Engineer, Machine Maintenance to ensure high availability, efficiency, and reliability of factory machinery.
Key Responsibilities
-Conduct routine inspection and condition monitoring of all factory machines and equipment.
-Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans to minimize breakdowns and downtime..
-Establish maintenance rules, SOPs, and best practices to ensure machines operate at optimum efficiency.
-Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical and electrical faults in machines and production equipment.
-Coordinate with production teams to plan maintenance activities without disrupting operations.
-Maintain maintenance logs, breakdown records, and spare parts usage reports.
-Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine reliability, safety, and productivity.
-Ensure compliance with safety standards and company maintenance policies.
Educational Requirements
-Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or Mechanical Engineering (ME)
-Degree from any recognized public or private university
Experience Requirements
-Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in machine maintenance / factory maintenance / industrial environment
-Experience in manufacturing plants, electrical panels, transformers, or heavy machinery will be considered an advantage
Other Requirements
-Strong understanding of industrial machines, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques
-Ability to work independently as well as in a team-based factory environment
-Good problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
High sense of responsibility, discipline, and safety awareness
