Fakir Group is seeking experienced 𝗦𝗿. 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿 / 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿 (𝗞𝗻𝗶𝘁) to join the 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝘂𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀: 𝗛&𝗠, 𝘀.𝗢𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿, 𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗧, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘆. This role requires strong buyer communication skills, technical understanding of knit garments, and the ability to coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders to meet quality and timeline expectations.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:
• Coordinate all activities related to product development, sample execution, approvals, and order follow-up.
• Plan, monitor, and maintain T&A and critical path, ensuring timely sample submission and bulk delivery.
• Collaborate with production, planning, sample, quality, stores, and commercial teams for smooth order execution.
• Review technical packs, identify issues, and ensure compliance with buyer standards and quality requirements.
𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
• Must have 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 working with the 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗯𝘂𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 (𝗛&𝗠 / 𝘀.𝗢𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 / 𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗧 / 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘆) in Knit Merchandising.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and buyer-management skills.
• Good understanding of fabrics, trims, garment costing, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in email communication, T&A management, and MS Office applications.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet strict deadlines.
𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲:
• Merchandiser: 1–3 years (minimum 1 year with the relevant buyer team).
• Sr. Merchandiser: 3–5 years (minimum 3 years with the relevant buyer team).
𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: BSc in Textile Engineering or a related field
